Easy-to-use controls for fast setup
Blackmagic Camera has all the controls you need to quickly get started! Tap any item to instantly change settings without searching through confusing menus! Everything is interactive! In addition to status and record parameters, the HUD also shows histograms, focus peaking indicators, levels, and frame guides. Swipe up or down to show or hide the HUD. Setup menus for cameras
The settings tab unlocks the full potential of your phone's camera, offering quick access to monitoring, audio, camera setup, recording, and more! The record tab allows you to select the video resolution and recording format, including Apple ProRes, or space-efficient H.264 and H.265. Anamorphic de-squeeze and lens correction settings are also available. Audio metering options include VU or PPM audio metering, and AAC and PCM formats. There is even the option to add external microphones! You can also recreate film looks by adding 3D LUTs!
The media
Blackmagic Camera's media tab provides all the controls you need to browse, scrub, search, sort, and upload your media. From Blackmagic Camera's all clips folder, choose the Media button to see thumbnails for each clip you've stored. Moreover, you can save the clips to the files folder on your phone, upload them to Blackmagic Cloud Storage via Blackmagic Cloud, or manually choose which clips to upload. It is even possible to sync media from Blackmagic Camera directly into the DaVinci Resolve project for editing.
